Tours and Tickets

All tickets are provided to constituents on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to the large number of visitors, please request them as early as possible in order to maximize your chances.

Obtaining a White House tour can be very difficult. It is very important to follow the below guidelines for your application to be considered.

The following are policies determined by the White House for those requesting tours through Congressional Offices:

  • White House tour requests must be submitted 7–90 days in advance of the requested tour date.
  • Tours are generally available 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday as well as 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday through Saturday (excluding Federal holidays or unless otherwise noted).
  • Tour schedules may change at any time, with little notice, due to inclement weather or scheduling conflicts, even after your tour is confirmed.
  • You will be required to submit security information directly to the White House Visitors office.

These steps are required to complete your request, but they do not guarantee you a White House tour.

PLEASE NOTE: The FBI Experience Tour is only available to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents (Green Card holders). Unfortunately, we are unable to schedule tours for individuals who do not meet these criteria. FBI tours can be booked up to 5 months in advance but must be scheduled at least 4 weeks before your desired tour date.

Please choose three dates everyone in your party is available to tour the White House. Tours are available Tuesday through Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., and Friday and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The tours are self-guided.

White House tours may be submitted up to 6 months in advance, but no later than 3 weeks before the requested tour date.

Each person in your tour party must submit security information to the White House via a link they provide.
