Appropriations

The House Appropriations Committee has released guidance for Fiscal Year 2027 programmatic, language, and Community Project Funding (CPF) requests.
Congressman Baumgartner’s office will accept submissions through our portals:
  1. For congressionally directed spending requests tied to eligible House CPF accounts. Submit here.
  2. For funding levels, report language, or bill language in the defense appropriations bill. Submit here.
  3. For funding levels, report language, or bill language in non-defense appropriations bills. Submit here.
Please use the correct portal. Each request requires a separate submission. Requests submitted through the wrong form may not be reviewed.
We strongly encourage early submission. Requests will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
All portals will close two days prior to Committee deadlines. (Tranche 1 closes March 11; Tranche 2 closes March 18; please see House Appropriations Committee guidance for more information)
Important Notes
  • Community Project Funding requests must meet all House eligibility and transparency requirements. The Congressman is limited to no more than 20 requests across all appropriations bills.  Generally only half of those will receive funding.
  • CPF requests will be publicly posted in accordance with House rules.
  • Each request requires a separate form submission.
  • Requests that do not clearly identify the agency, account, and funding level will not be considered.
  • Incomplete or late submissions will not receive full consideration.
Please carefully review subcommittee-specific eligibility guidance before submitting. Submit questions to appropriationswa05@mail.house.gov.
