Great to join US Secretary of Education, Linda McMahon at Spokane’s Chesterton Academy to talk about the new Education Freedom Tax Credit which could eventually provide $ billions in new k-12 funding to students in Washington state. I have five kids in both public and private schools and all my kids and every kid in Washington state will have access to these funds if – and only if – Gov Bob Ferguson devices to “opt in” Washington state just like 31 Republican and Democratic governors have already done. 🇺🇸
Congress created a $26 billion source of new K-12 education funding at NO COST to taxpayers! All Washington Gov. Bob Ferguson has to do is allow your NEW $1,700 Education Freedom Tax credit to be used by education charities here in Washington just like 30 other governors have done. (If Bob doesn’t allow Washington kids to benefit, the $ will just go to other states.) Do your job, Bob – and free up all this new education funding for Washington’s kids! 🇺🇸
