WASHINGTON- Today, Congressman Michael Baumgartner (WA-05) voted to advance the One Big Beautiful Bill Act to President Trump’s desk and released the following statement upon its passage.

WASHINGTON- Congressmen Michael Baumgartner (WA-05), Augest Pfluger (TX-11), Zach Nunn (IA-03), introduced a resolution affirming strong support for President Trump’s policy of permanently, irreversibly, and verifiably dismantling Iran’s nuclear weapons program. 

The resolution also reaffirms unwavering support for the State of Israel’s right to defend itself amid escalating threats from the Iranian regime.

WASHINGTON- Congressman Michael Baumgartner (WA-5) led a bicameral oversight letter to Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., urging the Trump administration to preserve the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health’s Spokane Research Laboratory (NIOSH SRL). The letter, sent on June 18, 2025, marks the third oversight effort Congressman Baumgartner has led to protect critical federal research infrastructure in the West.
